Immanuel

means “God with us.” A Hebrew word from the Old Testament Scriptures that captures the joyous news that reminds us of the joyous news that God has come in the flesh through His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

We believe we receive His grace through Baptism, the Word, and the Lord’s Supper.

In Holy Baptism, we are adopted into God’s family and join in the divine life of the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Through the Word of God, given to us in the Holy Scriptures and proclaimed from the pulpit, we grow in faith.

In the Lord’s Supper, we receive the body and blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sins.

We believe in the importance and power of prayer. Through it, we offer our thanks and praise to God and pray for our needs and the needs of our family, community, country, and world.
